What this site is about

This site records the research activities of 31 undergraduate students and myself during seven summers and two NSF-REU grants. The overview page gives background to the research area of tilings on surfaces, the various pages of the site, and a summary of each of the 9 project areas of research.

Much later, an additional page – AutoSurf – was added to share code from related projects by myself and colleagues, focused on automorphisms of surfaces.
